~~~April 21st- 2 days later.~~~
Noodle and Russel both had a hectic day listening to the story Murdoc and 2D told. Had 2D been the only one to tell them, the two probably wouldn't have believed him and thought he was crazy.   Noodle brushed her hair to the side and looked at Murdoc closely. "You have practiced none of your bass lines, so how will you-" The bassist stopped her with one hand. "...I have learned the bass lines thanks to Stuart." He jutted his thumb in his husband's direction, grumbling. "I played El Diablo while in Hell...and I left it in Hell too." The Satanist sighed and shrugged his shoulder, I'll just have to use another one--" "You must find another exact duplicate. People expect you to play that guitar, Murdoc." Noodle was on her knees, leaning over the table, glaring through her hair, which fell back over her eyes. "You. Must."  Noodle was right in a way, the fans wanted him to play his unholy bass. He'd better find a replacement...fast.
The young Asian stood up and sighed. "I will do the search, you can add the desired pieces to make it your own once I receive it.  With a bow, she exited the kitchen, going to check on Lucinda while she played in her playroom. "..." 2D looked at his baby walkie talkie attached to his pants. "Maybe Murdoc should practice on the spare bass in the studio." Russel suggested out of the blue. The bassist stood up silently, leaving the kitchen as well, not even waiting to start an argument. The singer looked at the drummer and smiled, his gap showing. "So. Wot does vat leave us to do, Russ?" He chuckled and leaned back, looking at the pack of smokes Murdoc left on the table. "..Hn." He tapped his fingers on the wood, keeping himself from temptation. "Are--'ey!" 2D whined quietly when Russel got up, but blinked when he turned, eyes dull and sad. "I just need to be alone right now, D. Glad the asshole's back and all...but there's just shit to do." He smiled and went through the doorway, leaving 2D all alone, listening to Noodle from the talkie. The vocalist frowned and stood up. That was HIS daughter. He had all the time in the world today to play with her. Marching out of the room, 2D went down the steps to the playroom Noodle set up for the infant.
Once there, he opened the door, peeking in to see Noodle using puppets to entertain the young child, who just gawked at the characters on her hands. "Waahhh.." She reached for the pig puppet, wanting to touch it. 2D smiled for a moment, then walked in, getting attention from both girls. "Why 'ello vere." He waved at Lucinda, grinning. "And 'ow's my baby doing today?" He knelt down, watching as she reached for him. "MhmMhh!" Whining because of the reach, Lucinda ignored Noodle now.  2D's grin turned into a soft smile and he picked her up. "Mama." She gripped onto the singer's shirt, holding on tight. He laughed some, looking at Noodle. "Fank you, Noodle-luv." Getting a nod from the Asian, the singer left, bouncing Lucinda up and down as he walked. "Wanna go listen to daddy practice?" He chuckled, carrying her up the stairs, moving towards the studio, hearing the twang of a bass guitar. "Well. We're jus' in time." Once at the door, the music was much clearer. "I wonder if 'e's gonna mind us here.." He remembered Murdoc wasn't too happy when he left. As he peeked into the glass of the door, 2D couldn't see the bassist. Shrugging it off, the young man pushed the door opened and closed it with his foot, looking around the corner to see his husband.
Murdoc looked up at the color blue in the corner of his eye. "Stu? Wot're ya doin'? Shouldn't you be resting?" The singer frowned and walked to the chair in front of Murdoc, setting Lucinda down on the floor at his feet. "Maybe I want to practice wif ya, luv." 2D laughed and watched Murdoc tune his bass a little. "What song are you practicing." The bassist didn't answer right away, still tinkering with the strings, then he spoke. "Number 6." It took a moment for that to register into 2D's head. "...Feel Good Inc.?" Murdoc gave a nod as he tested the strings, smiling as he accepted the sound. Not long after, he started playing clearly, looking up at 2D every so often. The singer was on the edge of his seat, watching Murdoc play. One hand was on his stomach, while his other was gripping the arm of his chair. "..."  Murdoc knew he was holding back, and it just tickled him. "Go on, luv." His assured him as he kept playing the tune.
Clearing his throat, 2D started out at a certain time. "Cities breakin' down on a camel's back-"  Murdoc hummed along to the beat as 2D sang in a deeper voice, getting his body's attention. "Mhh.." This left Lucinda unguarded, so she crawled off towards the nearest chair, getting to her feet. then, she walked over to a box of music equipment, digging out a microphone and its cord. Then, she pulled out a box of guitar strings, and some picks for them. "OOhhaaaah." Giggling, the little devil pulled out a box cutter, looking it over and over in her hands, it shined in the light. "Pre..tty." Getting back to her feet, she waddled over to 2D and Murdoc, listening to them finish their song, Murdoc actually smiling at the singer. "...Mama." She held up the object, showing 2D her treasure. "Ma. Ma."
Looking down after a moment, 2D's eyes widened and he gasped, reaching down and taking the sharp tool out of Lucinda's hand. But too quickly, slashing his thumb open. "Shi--Mhn!" He watched his mouth in front of his daughter, looking at the blood dripping from his wound. "Lucinda..!" Murdoc watched, a stern look on his face. "Y'know yer not supposed to play wif things that are away..!" The singer hissed in pain and stood up, slipping on the rug at his feet. "Gah..!" Still holding his hurt hand, 2D had no support and he landed on his stomach, causing the room to go silent. "...Eh..Ow!" Murdoc shot up, the bass fall and crashing to the floor. "STU. Don' move, for fuck's sake." He knelt down, picking the singer up off the floor, growling. "We gotta get that thumb stitched up. Might as well go to the hospital and check out the creature." He poked the younger's belly, hoping to calm is nerves. "We gotta go now." His eyes went over to Lucinda, trying to read her face. "...C'mon luv." He gestured for Lucinda to follow, and he lead her to Noodle's room, glad to Asian spent so much time in there. "I'm takin D to the hospital." And that was all he said as he left the toddler with Noodle, taking 2D's good hand to lead him to the carpark, pulling the keys out of his pocket. Then, he unlocked the car doors.
2D grumbled and got in, rubbing his stomach. "I'm such a clutz..aren' I. Muds?"  This made the bassist pause, looking at 2D through the windshield, having not yet gotten into the car. "Of course ya are, Stu!" He then laughed and got in, nudged his husband's shoulder, and put the key into the ignition. "Next stop. E.R..."
All 2D could do was look out the window, wondering about his parenting skills. Was he a neglecting mother? Looking at the bloody bandage over his thumb, the singer silently listed off how he could be a better parent.
Noodle sighed and sat Lucinda on her bed, watching her for a while before turning the TV onto Disney Channel. "Here. You might like this show."  The toddler blinked and looked at the screen, then looked over at Noodle, wanting to be held up. She needed attention. "Oh..Little Lucinda." With no delay, she reached down and picked her up in her arms. "In no time, we will be on stage and then have free time for you." She grinned at her once the child smiled at her. "Pway..!" Lucinda knew that her parents were busy, but she still wanted to play like an other child. Reaching up, she tugged the guitarist's hair, giggling. "Pway. Pway!" What could they do? Thinking, Noodle went to her closet and pulled out a DDR mat, setting it in front of the tv, then she pulled out a disc for the TV. "Want to learn how to dance?" She laughed, hoping to entertain the child with the bright lights from the game. "It's very fun."  Lucinda, watched her, swaying some on the balls of her feet. "Waah..Da-ance?"  This would be something to do.
THIS CHAPTER IS JUST FILLER. OH THIS WHOLE STORY IS FILLER. :I...
Hopefully it'll get better at the hospital...which actually is an average occurring theme in future chapters.
Mmhm.
Just a lot of work to do as a Senior in High school.
