~~~~~Picking Favorites?~~~~
And there was a fight.  Not a fight that 2D would really have minded though, had Lucinda not been there.
But there she was, sitting on the bed, listening to her parents arguing and cussing at each other.  Not very child friendly.   "Murdoc..stop yellin'. Please."
The singer didn't want to deal with this.  A headache was forming and he wasn't in the mood to fight with Murdoc about something so silly.  "Wot's so wrong?  We were vere fer Lucinda!  But you turn aroun' and be an arse jus' because you get in a small argument wif a random bloke!"  The bassist growled at him, fists clenched. "Yer so damned stubborn!"
2D shuddered and backed up. "Muds..calm down, luv."  The punch narrowly missed 2D by an inch. "Shut up! You can' control me!"
Lucinda watched, not really liking what was going on. "...nn? D-Daddy?" Murdoc's anger melted as she called for him. "Shh...sorry Lucinda."  He walked over and picked her up. "I won' bite ya."  He smiled some as she calmed down.
2D was glad that their baby could stop fights.   The singer sat on the bed and sighed, trying to rid himself of his headache.
"Wot's yer problem, Stu?"  Murdoc questioned him as he sat on the floor with Lucinda in his arms.    2D looked down at him. "Nuffin', luv...jus' a 'eadache from yer yellin'."
The bassist let his daughter go on the floor, watching her crawl around. "She's gettin' faster, right?" He asked as Lucinda was pulled back into his arms to keep her from going off under the bed.  "Yep."  2D leaned back and lied down, putting an arm over his eyes. "Nnn..." Murdoc smirked and got up quietly,  setting Lucinda in her playpen.
Then, he sneaked his way over and got on his knees in front of 2D, putting his hands on both of the singer's knees, getting a squeak from the smaller man. "Eh! Mu'doc?!"
He looked over and saw his husband spread his legs. "Ah! Wot're ya doin'?"  A blush was rising over his face. Murdoc grinned and leaned forward, using his teeth to pull the singer's zipper down. "Muds!" He was ignored as his hands went for the button. Soon, 2D's pants were on the floor, leaving him in a T-shirt and boxers. "Wo' abou' Lucinda, Muds...?"
He gestured over to the playpen where the child sat, playing happily with her stuffed animals.
"Trus' me...I don' think she reeeeaaaally cares, luv."    Leaning forward once again, the more infamous of the two brought his teeth to the hem of 2D's boxers, yanking them down quickly,  using his hands to tear them off the lad's lanky legs. "M-Muds..."  Stuart whined half-heartily. "We...shouldn'..."
Murdoc only growled seductively. "But yer so excited, luv~"  A hand rubbed up and down the inside of 2D's thigh, making the singer shiver.
The younger shifted, trying to close his legs. "Stop..."  The bassist finally let him go. "Wot? Why are ya bein' so stubborn?"  He was getting a bit pissed off.
"..."  2D didn't say anything, but, instead grabbed Murdoc by the arm, getting up and pushing his lover onto the bed.  Now, with Murdoc in that position, it seemed far more interesting.
Before Murdoc could get out of his stunned stage, 2D slipped down in between his spread legs, his large hands going for the zipper.
It was tugged down with no problem, but the button was a bit harder, seeing how 2D's hands were a bit unstable.  By this time, Murdoc finally understood what Stuart was after. "Hmhm~"  He grinned and decided to help by reaching towards his button, but reeled back when his hand was slapped. "Oi." He immediately shut up when 2D got the button unsnapped, his hands digging into his pants, groping Murdoc. "Ah-!"  The Satanist bit his lip, holding his surprised yelp.  "You were sayin', Muds?"  The singer spoke quietly, still a little angry, but not enough to say 'no' to sex.
Quickly and silently, Murdoc's pants came off, leaving him just as nude as 2D.
"You didn't put on underwear again?"  2D shook his head. "Goof.." He pushed Murdoc's legs farther apart, eyeing  what the bassist had to offer. "Mmm."
Slowly, he leaned forward, giving his inner thigh a small kiss. "Mn." His tongue gently poke out and licked at his skin, moving upward, teasingly slow.
"Gh..."  Murdoc struggled not to sit up and look. "Thought you were mad at me, Stu."  The bassist's voice came out in a whisper, not how he usually talks.
Trailing his tongue along green skin, 2D didn't stop until he reached the bassist's member. "Mn.." This received a small buck from Murdoc's hips, making 2D back up. "No."  He moved his hands and forced Murdoc's hips still, causing the older to fidget. "Oi." Before 2D could even look up,  something flew over him, scaring the singer to the floor. "Ah! Wo--" Both looked up at the sound of cawing. "Cortez! Shoo! Get out!"  The satanist snapped his fingers, commanding his feathered friend to leave.
"Muds! Wot va fuck is 'e doin'?!"  The singer was now cowering,  his arms shielding his head.  Cortez swooped over the both of them, ignoring the fact that both were in middle of something, and landed on the edge of the playpen.
2D quickly slipped his pants on, scared for his life. "Shoo! Get away from 'er!"  The raven didn't listen, focused on the child that was now staring up at him. "Caw!"  He fluffed his wings a bit, staring at the strange infant. Lucinda blinked, smiling at the bird. "...Nn!"  Reaching upward, she made a grab for him,  missing by an inch.
Blood red eyes met with tiny mismatched ones. "...."
Suddenly, Murdoc's hand came smashing into the raven's side, shoving him off the pen and onto the floor. "Bloody bird!"
He was just now putting his pants on. "Sorry,  he's not used to this place jus' yet."  He looked over at 2D, who was cradling Lucinda in his arms. "Why didn't ya leave vat fing in Mexico?!" He wasn't the least bit pleased with that...bird coming in and nearly attacking the both of them.
Once again. The two were interrupted.  How long has it been since they've had a successful night of sex?  Has it been weeks? Shit.
"Muds. Jus'....get it outta 'ere..."  Murdoc sighed and opened his arm, whistling. "Here, Cortez."  Not long after, the bird was planting itself on the bassist's arm, cawing loudly in approval. "C'mon, boy."  He shifted past 2D and went up the stairs to the carpark. "Oi.  Yer a lot more trouble than I expected, eh?"  A small chuckle left him as he walked over to the Winnebago.
The bird tilted his head to the side and made a noise in the back of his throat, almost like a purr.  "Weird."  The Satanist rolled his eyes and walked in, letting Cortez do whatever he wished.
The Raven flew over to the open cupboard,  planting himself there. "Brawk!"  Murdoc just glared at him. "Are you trying to piss us off?" He asked him bluntly, watching the bird fluff his feathers.  "Stupid bird." The bassist flopped down on his couch and grabbed the remote, flicking on the TV. "At least let me watch my TV in peace."
2D sat there, changing Lucinda into a nice dress, which she fussed about.  Dresses just weren't her favorite thing to wear. "Nn! No!"  She screamed and kicked, getting the singer in the jaw. "Ow! Stop vat!"  He rubbed his jaw and put some socks on her feet. "Calm down, damn it!"  He was getting frustrated.  Not only at Lucinda, but at himself.
"Calm down."  His hands pinned her down so that he could tie the ribbons on her dress. "It ain' vat bad!"  She acted like it was the worst punishment in the world.
"If yer actin' rebellious now. I 'ate to see wot yer like as a teenager!" He laughed and finished fixing her up. "Let's go see wot Russ is up to." It's been a while since the drummer has been spotted.
So, the singer picked the squirming infant up and walked out of his room and up to the kitchen, grabbing a juice for himself. "Hm. Yer a 'assle." He chuckled and sat her in the newly bought highchair. "Stay."  Reaching into a cupboard, 2D pulled out a container of mashed bananas. "Mmh. Bananas." He pulled out a baby spoon from a package on the counter. "Luckily.  Russel 'elped me go shoppin' las' week." His gaze went to Lucinda, who was smacking her hands on the table of the highchair. "Ya ain' goin' anywhere, luv. Jus' stop."  She glared up at him and pouted,  watching him as he opened the jar and stuck the spoon into the food. "Ready to try some food?"  This would be the first time Lucinda would ever try something other than breast milk. Grabbing a chair,  2D scooted up in front of his daughter. "Now...open up, sweet'eart."  He moved a spoonful of mashed bananas to her face. "No!" Her head turned immediately. "No! Daddy!"  She kicked and screamed, not wanting what the singer had for her.
       2D leaned back. "Wot? Ya 'aven' even tried it!"  He brought the spoon to her mouth, attempting to feed her again.  A gasp left him when it was smacked out of his hand. "Lucinda!" Stuart was getting angrier by the minute. "Wot's gotten into you?!"   She was picked up and soon the singer was off to the Winnebago as fast as he could go without tripping.
"Damn it. Ow!"  He nearly tripped on a can on the ground. The carpark was always so filthy.
After reaching the moble home, 2D used his free hand to knock loudly. "Mu'doc!"  Now he waited, tapping his foot impatiently for the bassist to get up and open the door.
"C'mon!" Taking a step back,  Stuart watched as the door opened. "Wot?!" Murdoc was obviously not in the mood to be bothered. "Stop jerkin' off an 'elp me feed yer daughter." Lucinda was then handed to the confused Satanist. "Wo--wait.  Wot?!"  2D pulled the jar of food from under his arm, the spoon having been put in his pocket. "Jus' 'old 'er."  He walked in and went to the sink, washing to spoon clean. "Sit on va couch wif 'er." Murdoc obediently did as told, yawning some as the TV started going to the news. "Boring." While he was preoccupied, 2D was busy getting the food ready again. "Awright..'elp me." "Wit' wot?" The singer grumbled. "Jus' 'old 'er and encourage 'er to eat."  He walked over and sat in front of her,  the spoonful going to her mouth. "Lucinda...c'mon..."
Her head swiveled away from the spoon, looking at Murdoc's lap, glaring. "No!"  The bassist rolled his eyes and grabbed the food from him. "You hold her, mate."  He let go of her so 2D could, and when he did, the spoon was brought up to her mouth. "Open up, luv. Eat."
Murdoc's eye sought surrender from his daughter, and that's what he got.
Slowly, she opened her mouth, letting the food in. "There we are."  A smile came to his face as she swallowed it,  not disliking. "Want some more?"
Instead of answering, her mouth opened again.  2D rolled his eyes, wondering why it was easier for Murdoc to get her to cooperate.  "Yeah. Jus'...keep feedin' 'er while I go talk to Russel."  Murdoc shook his head. "Wai'."  He stopped, his hand on the door. "Wot?  Ya can' 'andle 'er by yerself?"
The older of the two chuckled. "It ain' that.  It's just...hm.  Ya look so tired."
Lucinda nuzzled into Murdoc's chest, smiling some at the smell of his aftershave.
  2D put a hand on his face, feeling his pale skin. "I am.  A little." What did that have to do with anything? "Maybe you should take somethin'?"  "Loike wot?"  He asked, his Cockney accent highly noticeable.
"Iunno! There's gotta be somethin'.  How about sleep?"
The singer sighed and shook his head at Murdoc's humor.  "Sometimes, I wanna strangle ya, Muds."
After that small conversation, 2D was finally gone out of the Winnebago,  but instead of going where he said he was,  the singer went back to his room, deciding to get some cleaning up done.  "Hnn.." His mind was reeling. Lucinda wanted to spend time with Murdoc more than him.  Oh well, a phase.  It happens, right?
Once he was done cleaning, he would have to look over the lyrics for the song Noodle handed to him. "O Green World.  Seems like a...sad song in it's own way..."
Talking to yourself isn't very sane 2D. Stop it.
Think about the pills all over the floor. "Ugh...meh 'ead.." Stuart stopped and sat on the bed, putting his head in his hands. "...I'm so confused..."  He wanted to be happy that Lucinda was growing up.  But...was she growing up the right way?  Was he raising her right? Soon, he felt tears make his way down his face, off his chin and onto the floor. "..." Being a parent was harder than he thought.  The drama, the exhaustion,  the anger, the pain.  Too much sometimes.
It was time to calm down and rest.
The lanky man lied down and closed his eyes, calming down slowly.  How could it get any more dramatic.
If only he knew.
I added more and more.
I'm never satisfied with my stories.
I always feel like something's missing.
:/
As if I'm doing too much of the same thing.
*sigh*
Oh well...maybe I can change my slump.
